We hope you consider joining your EM colleagues at the 2027 MCEP Winter Symposium, a CME event designed to provide the latest information on the hot topics that affect your practice. This year’s agenda will again include interactive lecture presented by local and regional experts and will also offer time for social and networking opportunities.

2027 Discounted Lift Tickets
Boyne is excited to offer a new added value to guests coming with a large group – discounted lift tickets! Those who register for the Symposium will receive an e-mail with this information when they register that will include a discount link and a Group Sales Validation Code to purchase lift tickets.
ATTENTION FAMILIES:
Families can obtain a Cold is Cool Ski & Ride Passport App for their 4th and/or 5th graders that gives them up to two free lift tickets or trail passes at 29 participating ski areas (when accompanied by a paying adult), plus additional discounts on the slopes and in Michigan ski shops. MSIA charges $30 for the passport; $22 covers operating expenses, $8 goes to Share Winter Foundation and MIsnow, a new charitable organization that helps get underprivileged kids out on our slopes & trails in the winter. MIsnow also works to preserve the strong cultural past of Michigan skiing and protect its future with sustainability education. You can find more information here.

This all-day program blends safe indoor childcare with gentle mountain adventures, giving even your tiniest adventurer their first taste of skiing magic. Medical Student Forum – Saturday, January 30, 2027
During the Midwest Winter Symposium, MCEP will be holding a Medical Student Forum for M1s though M4s, both MD & DO attending one of the seven in-state medical schools of Michigan. The forum will include small group advising, a residency fair, simulation as well as a resident panel. Registration will be limited.
The cost to attend is $60 and includes the Forum on Saturday, 1/30/27 and the MCEP Evening Reception on Friday, 1/29/27, as well as breakfast and a box lunch during the Forum. You are also welcome to attend any of the Midwest Winter Symposium’s educational sessions that may be of interest to you. Please note the fee does not include accommodations or skiing/lift tickets.
Please be sure to secure your accommodations soon! If you wish to stay on property at Boyne Mountain you can use the group reservation link above.
2027 Medical Student Forum Agenda to come

There are only 40 spots open. The first 40 PAID in full are eligible to attend the Medical Student Forum. There will be a waitlist in case any students drop out. The fee is $60 to attend. If you are registered for the conference, that does NOT mean you are registered for the Medical Student Forum. You must scroll down to “Extra Events” and select the Medical Student Forum and input the additional information required.
