About MEMF

The primary purpose of the foundation is to promote and to provide improved education and research in the field of emergency medicine in order to improve the availability and quality of emergency medical treatment. MEMF awards scholarships to medical students to attend the annual Medical Student Forum in conjunction with the Midwest Winter Symposium and to residents to speak at the MCEP Michigan Emergency Medicine Assembly held annually in July.
