MCEP Stands in Support of Those Affected by the Mass Shooting Incident at Oxford High School

The Michigan College of Emergency Physicians (MCEP) stands in support of those affected by the mass shooting incident at Oxford High School on November 30, 2021. Firearm injuries continue to be a significant public health issue in the United States. MCEP stands with the American College of Emergency Physicians in supporting research into public policies that may reduce the risk of all types of firearm-related injuries. We ask legislators, researchers, and the public to come together to implement expedient solutions to this ongoing public health crisis.  “There are no sidelines – only front lines.” – The American Foundation for Firearm Injury Reduction in Medicine (AFFIRM)
