Michigan Emergency Medicine Foundation

About MEMF

The primary purpose of the foundation is to promote and to provide improved education and research in the field of emergency medicine in order to improve the availability and quality of emergency medical treatment. MEMF awards scholarships to medical students to attend the annual Medical Student Forum and to residents to attend the ACEP Legislative and Advocacy Conference held annually in April in Washington, DC.

Commitment to Diversity

In our commitment to diversity and the cultivating of a diverse community of professionals, MCEP benefits from a vastly richer mix of ideas, perspectives, and life experiences that expands our thinking and our possibilities.  We are committed to building diversity of all kinds – on our staff, in our membership, and within our educational programs we provide as well as the scholarships we award.

Our goal is to promote involvement and expand access to leadership opportunity, membership recruitment and faculty of educational programming regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, appearance, Michigan geographic location, or professional level.
