Held annually, the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association of Michigan’s (EMRAM) Dinner/Lecture Series offers Michigan’s emergency medicine residents a fine opportunity to gather and partake in an educational program of excellent distinction and socialize with other EM residents from around the state.

Officer elections and the EMRAM Teacher of the Year Award presentation take place during this event.

This year's event will begin with a SIMWARS competetion from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., Oral Research Presentations from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., Poster Research Presentations from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. and the dinner and EMRAM Annual meeting will follow into the evening with the lecture series. 

We are recruiting teams for the First Annual SimWars competition hosted by EMRAM this year which will be held on Wednesday April 28th as a part of the Spring Dinner/Lecture and Research Day.  

SimWars is an interactive simulation competition that allows teams of medical providers to compete against each other on simulated patient encounters in front of a large audience.  An expert panel will judge each teams performance in areas such as teamwork, communication, and leadership as well as in the medical management of the "patient".

The competition will consist of 4 teams (3 residents per team) representing their respective programs to compete for the title of EMRAM SimWars Champion.

We are looking for four programs that might be interested in competing. We will be selecting the teams by the most scientific method known....we will draw the names from a hat!
